New Build – Aluminum Landing Craft Coating System

For this new aluminum landing craft, surface preparation and coating were completed to deliver maximum protection and long-term durability. The project began with a full wet blasting process to remove contaminants and create the proper anchor profile required for coating adhesion.

Following surface preparation, a complete marine-grade coating system was applied:

    •    5 coats of Interprotect epoxy primer to ensure optimal adhesion, corrosion resistance, and barrier protection.

    •    2 coats of antifouling paint to prevent marine growth and enhance performance in saltwater environments.

This process provided the vessel with a high-quality finish that combines superior protection, professional aesthetics, and long-term reliability for heavy-duty marine service.
